In the press conference, which was conducted on 22 of July in the Republican press center “Ittiloot va Muoshirat”, the executive director of NSIFT Saidahmad Mirzoev has declared to the media that Phase II of the Programme “Community Funds for the Promotion of Basic Education and Rehabilitation of Community Infrastructure” is fully completed and the new – third phase of this programme has started.

Messages and requests addressed to NSIFT from population, that come on a daily basis, indicate that school problems, low level of medical institutions’ services, shortage of drinking water, lack of electricity and many other issues still remain unresolved. The majority of these problems belong to remote regions of the republican subordination and Khatlon region.

From 22 to 28 of November 2012, German Development Bank (KfW) representatives headed by Christoph Isenmann – program manager “Community Funds for the Promotion of Basic Education and Rehabilitation of Community Infrastructure”, Peter Rooney – engineer-expert of construction sector, Oltinoy Valikhanova – specialist of financial sector, Monica T. – audit specialist, had a trip to Temurmalik, Vose, Kumsangir, J.Rumi, Khorasan, Yavan districts and Kurgan-Tube and Kulyab cities, and got informed about the implementation progress of the second phase of the program, as well as got acquainted with condition of other schools of the given region in Baljuvon, Khovaling, Muminabad and Shuroabad districts.

Within the framework of given program, 30 micro projects will be performed in 14 districts of southern Khatlon region, particular in A.Jomi, Bokhtar, Jilikul, Kubodiyon, J.Rumi, Kumsangir, Nasir Khusrav, Panj, Shaartuz, Vakhsh, Yavan districts and in Nurek and Sarband cities.
