On September 24, 2020, the National Social Investment Fund of Tajikistan put into operation a two-story educational building with 10 classrooms on the territory of secondary school No. 9, Dekhibaland village, Dekhibaland jamoat, Muminabad district.
This project was implemented on the basis of financial cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, as part of the financing of the fourth phase of the Program “Community Funds for the promotion of Basic Education and Rehabilitation of Community Infrastructure”.
In 2017, when conducting a survey in Muminabad district, the problem of lack of pupils’ places was one of the priorities, and at that time the total number of pupils was 481 people.
In order to eliminate this problem and to create conditions for pupils a two-storeyed educational building for 10 classrooms with a design capacity of 240 places per shift was built on the territory of school, taking into account energy efficiency. Classrooms, teacher's room and director's office are equipped with the necessary furniture and visual aids.
Also, along with the construction of educational buildings, according to the project, an autonomous heating system, a reservoir, a sports ground, a warehouse, a toilet were built and other landscaping works were conducted on the territory of the institution. During the implementation of the project, trainings were also held for members of the Parents' and Teachers’ association of the school on the approved modules.
The official opening ceremony of the educational building was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, executive bodies of the Khatlon region and Muminabad district, as well as residents of Dekhibaland village.
